Rudolph Von Burg, Ph.D., D.A.B.T., C.I.H., C.E.I.
Principal Scientist

With more than 35 years of experience in toxicology, Dr. Von Burg formed EnTox &
Associates in 1996.  As Principal Scientist, Dr. Von Burg is frequently retained for
expert witness and litigation support in toxic tort cases on topics such as
hydrocarbons (process intermediates and finished products, e.g., benzene and
toluene), generic chemicals (e.g., TDI), fibrous materials (asbestos), food additives
and contaminants, synthetic chemicals (e.g., PCBs), pharmaceuticals (tryptophan),
and pesticides (Alar).  To date, Dr. Von Burg has provided services as an expert in
toxicology and industrial hygiene issues for more than 200 legal cases and has
provided services as a Certified Industrial Hygienist on more than 100 projects.

John W. Kephart, M.S.P.H.
Senior Associate

Mr. Kephart is an occupational and public health scientist having many years of
experience in the fields of toxicology, industrial hygiene, and human health and
ecological risk assessment.  He has performed risk assessments that evaluated the
potential for adverse health effects associated with the presence of a wide range of
industrial and naturally occurring contaminants in soil, air, and water.  He successfully
completed these evaluations in compliance with risk assessment methodologies
prescribed by the California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal-EPA),   U.S. EPA,
and other state regulatory agencies.  He has technical field training in the areas of
groundwater, soil, and soil vapor sampling.  In addition, Mr. Kephart has professional
training and experience in watershed assessment, litigation support, industrial
hygiene, epidemiological studies, and teaching risk assessment methodologies.

Mr. Kephart also heads up our Wichita, KS office providing area businesses and
residents with the expertise expected by EnTox & Associates.

Andréa M. Von Burg, M.S.P.H.
Associate

Ms. Von Burg is a toxicologist/health risk assessor with several years experience in
the environmental consulting field.  As an EnTox associate, Ms. Von Burg specializes
in a variety of analytical and research oriented tasks as part of conducting risk
assessments.  Her work includes the evaluating of analytical data, developing
exposure models, gathering toxicity information, and estimating cancer risks and
noncancer health effects from exposure to chemicals in various media.
